You retain full ownership of all content you create. All lists, spots, notes, music tags, and photos you commit to your capsules remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your personal memories or curation.
By publishing content publicly or allowing your capsules to be shared on Capsule, you grant Sruper Inc. and our peer users a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, adapt for display, distribute within the service, and publicly display that content for the purposes of operating, developing, securing, and promoting Capsule. The licence continues for as long as the content remains on the service and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that routine backups may expire.
You represent and warrant that you own or hold every right necessary to grant that licence for everything you add, and that your content infringes no copyright, trade mark, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, contractual obligation, or applicable law.
You acknowledge that when you save a link, reference, or third-party item, our systems may automatically retrieve, download, cache, transcode, and store copies of the associated material — including images, artwork, previews, audio, and metadata — on our servers and on our content delivery infrastructure. That retrieval is performed at your direction and on your instruction. You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of everything you introduce to the service by any means, whether uploaded by you directly or fetched automatically as a consequence of your action.
Account Deletion & Fork Attribution Logic
You may permanently delete your account at any time directly through the in-app settings menu. Upon account deletion or valid data erasure requests, your personal profile, account credentials, private capsules, and personal identifiers are permanently scrubbed from our active databases.
For public items that other users independently forked or saved into their own personal libraries prior to your account deletion: to protect the personal curation of those independent users without violating your privacy rights, Capsule retains only a de-identified, attribution-stripped copy of the underlying item metadata (such as spot coordinates or media catalog identifiers) while permanently scrubbing your author identity, username, and personal notes.
